Any one can offer a listed Software for Sale on FreeSOFTX. The software on offer
must have all original diskettes, manuals, original packing and license agreement.
The transaction will be directly with the buyer. Depository services can be optionally
availed if required by buyer or seller.

If you can't find a buyer for cash, you could barter it other package required and
listed on FreeSOFTX. Depository services will be required as the software may be
bartered with a third party. To offer your software for barter, you need to send in the
original license agreement to the nearest FreeSOFTX depository.The original license
agreement can be recalled at any time if the barter offer is revoked.
Q: Why should the Original License Agreement have to be deposited?
A : In order to request the prospective buyer to send the remittance to FreeSOFTX,
we need to ensure that the software will be available and not subject to prior sale.
Secondly once the buyer has remitted the amount to FreeSOFTX, the software
should be despatched as soon as possible by the seller. Since FreeSOFTX will be
usually mediating between unknown buyers and seller, it will ensure smooth
transactions.
B : BUY or EXCHANGE:
An order for the required quantity can be placed. In exchange for the items ordered,
the buyer can barter against any listed software of equivalent value on FreeSOFTX

The Internet is faceless medium and hence at times buyers and sellers may not
trust each other. FreeSOFTX offers depository/custodial services to ensure fair
transactions. In this case,
- The seller will send the original software license agreement to the nearest
depository.
- The buyer will send the payment OR software for exchange to a depository
nearest to him.
- As soon as either is received from buyer, the seller will be intimated to
despatch the software.
- As soon as the buyer confirms receipt, FreeSOFTX will remit the amount to
the seller.
- The depository services are mandatory for Barter transactions but OPTIONAL
for direct sales.
- FreeSOFTX will deduct 10% of the value from the remittance to seller to cover
administrative cost subject to a minimum amount of US$10.
